About Me
I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers. I am also a Professional Premium Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers as well as a member of the Pet Professional Guild.
Additionally, I am Pet First Aid and CPR certified, and I am constantly continuing my education in animal behavior science, learning theory, and general dog training through professional conferences, courses, and I do my best to stay up to date on the latest research.
I have experience volunteering at Seattle Humane and Homeward Pet Adoption Center. I have also worked with Karma Dog Training and at Zoom Room Seattle.

I moved to Washington State in 2008 from Florida, where I was a high school English teacher. I taught guitar and bass at School of Rock Seattle for several years before I made the switch to dog training. I’m originally from Long Island, New York. I’ve practiced saying “dog” without an accent, but you may still see me in a Yankee hat! When I’m not with clients, I like to go camping with my husband, Kevin, and our Pittie/Chow mix named JubJub!
